How can I transfer funds to GoldMoney in order to buy gold and silver?

First, you must complete GoldMoney's Customer Acceptance Policy (CAP). To learn more about our CAP and to download the CAP form, please go to:

Once we receive and accept your CAP form and identity documents, your Holding becomes CAP-Verified. You can then 'Add Funds' (US dollars, British pounds, euros, Canadian dollars, Japanese yen, Swiss francs) to your Holding by bank wire or CHAPS/BACS (UK bank accounts only).

To initiate a bank wire or CHAPS/BACS transfer, you will need to instruct your bank and provide it with our bank account details. These details are provided to you when your Holding is CAP-Verified.

To 'Add Funds' to your Holding, click the "Accounts & Transfers > Add Funds" link. The following screens will ask you to:

1. Choose a method to send funds to your Holding (bank wire or CHAPS/BACS)
2. "Select Currency, Destination & Amount" (choose the bank account to send your funds)
3. "Confirm this transfer of money to your Holding" (confirm that you want to proceed and that your transfer request is correct)

Funds sent by bank wire are usually received within 1 business day from the day that you instruct your bank. However, a bank wire can take more time to reach your Holding, depending on, among other things, where your bank is located.

Funds sent by CHAPS are usually received within 1 business day. BACS transfers generally take 3 business days.

Once we have received your funds, the currency balance in your Holding is updated. Note that bank processing fees may be deducted, which will reduce the amount you have transferred.

Your available funds are visible on the "Balances" page once you log in. Once you have available funds in any of the six currencies we accept, you can place a Buy order.
