Once you are paid, you stay paid!

GoldGrams are a "hard" currency and transactions are NOT reversible. Credit cards are a "soft" currency because transactions can be reversed. This leaves the merchant in a disadvantageous position because it is usually not practical to retrieve the goods once control has been given to the buyer. Instant and irreversible payments are advantageous features that make goldgram payments unique.

Fees are low
Transaction fees in GoldMoney are low. The maximum is 1/10th of a goldgram (about US$3.06). The minimum is 1/100th of a goldgram, or about 30 US cents. And the buyer, not the merchant, pays this fee.

Sign up is quick and easy
Merchant sign up is quick and easy. Just open an account, which is free to do, and provide the information requested in our Customer Acceptance Policy. In contrast to credit cards, no special approvals are needed. No credit is involved in a GoldMoney transaction.

Once your CAP details have been received and approved, contact us when you are ready to test the merchant interface on your account. After your system is integrated into GoldMoney, we will make the interface live so you can begin accepting goldgram payments at your website.
